Schedule

Direct Practice:  Drawing from tens of thousands of narrative therapy practice hours, plus one remarkable philosopher, the faculty engage participants in 3 days of up close practice learning through Live demonstration counter-story interviews designed to teach the creative art involved with therapeutic questions.

Need: Developing consistent, coherent and creative therapeutic questions is (by far) the most difficult learning for most narrative therapists to achieve. Without this knowledge and craft narrative therapy is diluted and clients are under served.

Mission: The Vancouver School for Narrative Therapy provides hands on supervision that guides the participant learner towards more robust understandings in the study, craft, practice and development of therapeutic questions and – the lost art of therapeutic letter writing.

Learning: The course is designed for participants to feel the exhilarating experience of asking therapeutic questions growing exponentially forward. Participant learning is highly interactive, transparent, humbling,  and vigorous. The learning experience involves watching, struggling, inventing, creating and participating in the groups crafting of narrative therapy questions.

Who Should Attend: The course is designed for practicing narrative therapists and students who have a strong background in narrative therapy. If you have any questions about the 'fit' please contact our office at 604-688-7860.
