Foundations III: Relational Supervision & Practice (New)

Find your rhythm. Find your pace. Find your style.
November 21-22, 2026 + January 16-17, 2027 (18 CEC's)
Registration open September 11th, 2026

*Legendary narrative therapy supervisors Stephen Madigan, Rock Nylund alongside a group of VSNT faculty supervisors offer immediate live session supervision reflections within a highly supportive group and individual supervisory context. Participants receive feedback throughout the four-day supervisory experience through:

1) live developing narrative interview questions section,

2) small group interviewing skill section, and

3) each participant's client session transcript personal supervision sections.

Sound scary? Too vulnerable? Initially you might feel this way.

VSNT faculty feels that putting yourself out there is the most reliable way to move your  narrative practice forward. Why? Well, this is the way all our the world class faculty trained and supervised.

Designed for practicing therapists as the ‘next step’ in developing your practice training.*

Stephen Madigan teaching VSNT

"After completing your Level Two Applied Skills course I have experienced the most confident and exhilarating two weeks of therapy in my life! Rock and Stephen you are the best pair of supervisor/teachers I have ever had. With so much gratitude and love . . ."!!"

"From the more dominant psychological practice perspective, the mother's tears could easily have been categorized as another symptom of her inability to accept the permanence of the loss of her child. Yet I was curious: could her tears also speak to her relationship with her son Gustav, and how she wished that relationship to continue?”

"As Narrative Therapists, we co-construct worlds in therapy through our questions - about what we say or do or draw our attention towards. Our practice has direct implications for what we intentionally or unintentionally set limits on and - to what might be possible to express, believe, or dream about. This decision is one of our most ethical."
